FAQ's
The following questions and answers are designed to provide an
understanding of Beaver Creek Club and the membership opportunities
available at the Club. As these questions and answers are
only summary in nature, you should read the Membership Plan and
Rules and Regulations prior to purchasing a membership.
What is the Beaver Creek
Club?
Beaver Creek Club offers members, their family and accompanied
guests an opportunity to relax, play, meet interesting and active
new people, enjoy magnificent recreational facilities and
participate in creative, entertaining and stimulating programs and
activities. The Club Facilities, as defined below, are owned
and operated by Vail Resorts, Inc., its affiliates, successors
and/or assigns (the "Company"), doing business as the Club.
Certain facilities may be leased to third party operators from time
to time.
What recreational and
social facilities are available to members of the
Club?
- The Beaver Creek Club, located next to the Centennial Express
#6 chairlift, includes an elegant lounge, viewing deck, business
center, board room, family locker facilities (including valet ski
storage), reception area, club offices, and members-only retail
facilities.
- Beano's Cabin, which serves lunch to club members and their
accompanied guests during the ski season and is open to the public
during the evenings and in the summer.
- Allie's Cabin is open in the winter for lunch for Club Members
and their accompanied guests only, and is available for private
functions at other times.
- World-class skiing at Vail and Beaver Creek Mountains, hosts of
the 1989, 1999, and 2015 World Alpine Ski Championships.
- A picturesque and challenging 18-hole championship golf course
designed by Robert Trent Jones II, which is one of the premier
resort golf courses in Colorado.
- Golf clubhouse, offering a panoramic view of Beaver Creek
Valley and featuring an informal dining room, golf shop with
equipment and apparel, members' lounge, locker rooms, and golf bag
storage.
- Tennis Center, featuring two hard courts, five Har-Tru clay
courts, and a tennis pro shop.
- The Club at Allegria, including a full service European style
day spa, fitness facilities, locker rooms, outdoor heated pool, and
hot tubs.
What categories of
membership are offered in the Club?
Two categories of membership are currently offered in the Club:
Charter and Gold Memberships. Each person who acquires a
membership in the Club will be entitled to use the Club Facilities
in accordance with the category of membership and the Rules and
Regulations of the Club.

What additional benefits
do Charter Members receive?
In addition to all benefits enjoyed by Gold Members, Charter
Members also receive:
- Exclusive rights to reserve member tee times (before 10 a.m.
and from 4 p.m. - 4:50 p.m.) and complimentary greens fees at the
Beaver Creek Golf Course. Cart fees are not included.
- Access to the Ford Hall parking structure on a first-come,
first-served basis.
Is the initiation fee
refundable?
When the membership is resigned and reissued by the Club to a
new member, the resigning Gold or Charter Member will receive a
refund of fifty percent (50%) of the Initiation Fee paid by the new
member, not to exceed the amount of the Initiation Fee previously
paid by the resigning member.
Who is eligible to acquire
a membership in the Club?
Memberships are offered only to purchaser and owners of
residences or homesites in the Beaver Creek Resort Community.
Generally, Charter and Gold Memberships are only available to
persons over 21 years of age owning at least a 50% undivided fee
simple interest in one or more Residential Sites as defined in the
membership documents. For further information about
membership eligibility please contact the Club Director.
Will my family members be
welcome at the Club?
Yes. Your immediate family, which will include your spouse
and your unmarried children, under the age of 23 who either live at
home or attend school on a full-time basis, may use the Club
Facilities without being accompanied by you. The Member shall
be responsible for all charges incurred by his or her immediate
family.
May my guests use the Club
Facilities?
Yes. Your accompanied guests may use the
Club Facilities, in accordance with your category of membership and
the Rules and Regulations of the Club. Generally,
unaccompanied guests are not permitted to use the
Club Facilities.
What happens if I move
outside the community?
If you sell your property in Beaver Creek Resort or an interest
therein as provided in the Rules and Regulations, your membership
will automatically terminate 240 days after such change in
ownership, unless within such 240 day period you reacquire an
interest in property within Beaver Creek Resort qualifying you for
membership pursuant to the Rules and Regulations.
Can members be assessed
to cover any operating deficits or capital
improvements?
No. Members will not be subject to any assessments for operating
deficits or capital improvements. The Company will be
responsible for all deficits incurred in the operation of the Club
and its facilities and for the cost of all capital
improvements.
Will there be any other
types of membership available in the Club?
The Club has offered and may offer other types of membership
from time to time as determined by the Governance Board pursuant to
the Membership Plan.
How does the Club keep
abreast of the desires of the members?
The Club is committed to providing the types of services,
programs, activities, and events that the membership is desirous of
having. A Governance Board composed of 5 elected Club Members
and 5 persons appointed by the Company will enable members to have
input on the foregoing items as well as other matters that are of
concern to the members. In addition, the Governance
Board has created golf, social, and tennis committees to
gather focused input from the membership.
How do I become a
member?
To become a member of the Club, you must submit to the Club a
fully completed and signed Application for Membership, authorize
the Beaver Creek Club to verify your qualifying ownership of Beaver
Creek property, and submit a check in the amount of the required
Initiation Fee. The Application and the check should be
submitted to the Club Director.
Must I pay the full
initiation fee at the time of application?
No. You may elect to pay 50% of the initiation fee at the
time of application, and submit the other 50% plus a nominal
interest fee prior to your one year anniversary of joining the
Club. Should you decide to resign from the Club prior to
paying the full initiation fee, then initial payments will be
forfeited.

Beaver Creek Resort Community or a membership in the Club.
